Judith Eckles

I am Judith Eckles and I’m running for West Norriton Township Commissioner.

I’ve been interested and involved in politics for more than 40 years. A firm believer that all politics are local I decided it was time to jump in with both feet. I quickly realized that I was not well-informed about West Norriton issues. I started attending Township meetings. . . I discovered fewer than a dozen other residents regularly attend.

Why is it that so few people attend? I believe it’s because, like me, very few residents know what’s happening in the Township and how they may be affected. While there is a Township website (http://www.westnorritontwp.org/) filled with information there is no active process for communicating with residents. As a professional communicator, I can use my expertise to assist with stronger communications. If you have an issue you would like to see addressed, email me at Judith.Eckles@gmail.com. I am excited by the prospect of representing you as a Township Commissioner. I hope you will come out and vote for me on November 7.
